Global Head of Infrastructure & Real Estate in the Intesa Sanpaolo Group (“ISP”). Since 2012 Riccardo is engaged in developing the relationship with major Global Concessionaires, TSO, EPC Contractors and Infrastructure Funds worldwide, and in managing the Infrastructure team of Intesa Sanpaolo. This includes the supervision of ISP’s existing portfolio of infrastructure investments, as well as working with team members and ISP’s Subsidiaries to originate and execute new transactions in the PPP, PFI and structured finance world.

Dr Marika Djolai is a Senior Researcher and Head of Conflict and Security Cluster at the European Centre for Minority Issues. She is also a member of the Balkans in Europe Policy Advisory Group (BiEPAG). She holds masters degrees from the University of Novi Sad and University College London, UK, and she received her Doctorate in Development Studies (Conflict and Violence) in 2016 from the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex.
Andrea De Georgio is an Associate Research Fellow at ISPI. He is a freelance journalist based in Mali and covers the main countries of Western Africa. He contributed to several Italian and foreign newspapers and magazines, including il Corriere della Sera, La Stampa, Limes, CNN. De Gregorio also works with RaiNews24, Radio 24 and Radio Popolare. In 2011, he undertook a postgraduate degree in Sciences of Languages, History and Cultures of Mediterranean and Islamic Countries at the University of Naples and in 2012 he won the journalism international award “Maria Grazia Cutuli”.

Mattia Corbetta is a Policy Analyst at the OECD Trento Centre for Local Development. Between 2012 and 2019 he worked as a Policy Adviser at the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, where he contributed to designing the Italian Startup Act, the National Plan on Industry 4.0 and other policies on digital and inclusive entrepreneurship. In the past, he worked at the Italian Chambers of Commerce in Switzerland and Morocco, at the Italian Embassy in Syria and at the UN Volunteers program in Germany.
Kerry Brown is Professor of Chinese Studies and Director of the Lau China Institute at King's College, London. From 2012 to 2015 he was Professor of Chinese Politics and Director of the China Studies Centre at the University of Sydney, Australia. Prior to this, he worked at Chatham House from 2006 to 2012, as Senior Fellow and then Head of the Asia Programme.
Claudio Bertolotti (PhD) is Director and Head of Research at Swiss-Italian company START InSight. His academic and professional research focus on terrorism, radicalisation, Intellicence, security in Mediterranean area, conterinsurgency, small wars and asymmetric conflicts in the MENA area (in particular Afghanistan Syria and Libya). Since 2015, he is Senior Researcher at the Centre Euromaghrébin de Recherches et d’Etudes Stratégiques (CEMRES) in Tunis and Italian Representative within the ‘5+5 Defense Initiative’ international research working group.
Sara Bazoobandi is a Marie Curie Fellow at the GIGA Institute of Middle East Studies and Associate Research fellow, ISPI.
